Online shopping is an emerging concept in the study area. This study enables to understand the customer preference towards shopping and provides insight about online shopping . The study recommends online sellers to make online shopping efficient and less costive with assured safety and security of transactions as well as the product itself. Thus, the buying process for the purposes of this study is composed by the following three main steps: 1. Search 2. Purchase 3. Return Each step could be accomplished either online, in store, or by some combination of both. The different consumer behaviors resulting from the various combinations are shown in Table 1. 2008 – Increase in growth of online shopping by 17% from the last year in the US, with ecommerce sales figures around $204 billion. In the same year Groupon is launched as is Magneto – so anyone could have a go at creating their own online store. 2013 – UK shoppers spent a whopping £91bn online.
